Manchester United Football Club is an English football club, based at Old Trafford stadium in Trafford, Greater Manchester, and is without doubt the most popular football club in the world, [2] with more than 330 million fans from around the world [ 3] [4] - nearly 5% of the world's population. [5] The club was a founding member of the Premier League in 1992 and has played in the top division of English football since 1938, with the exception of the 1974-75 season.
